Re-mortgage

Re-mortgaging a property to get a new deal could save you money.  Clay Lane Legal can help you with the legal aspect of this process and to get your new mortgage put in place.

We set out the process involved in a re-mortgage transaction:

  • Instruct a conveyancer and deal with file opening procedures.
  • Obtain a redemption statement on any existing mortgage and review the new mortgage offer.
  • We will obtain Land Registry documents and draft your new Mortgage Deed.
  • Ask you to sign the Mortgage Deed and discuss a completion date.
  • On completion, pay off your existing mortgage and send any balance to you.
